THE DEAN OF CONGRESS: CONGRESSWOMAN BARBARA LEE

Al and I were thrilled to host a very successful fundraiser for the Dean of Congress, Congresswoman Barbara Lee—a true living legend! She’s not just California’s Congresswoman; she is the People’s Congresswoman. As a mentee of Shirley Chisholm and a mentor to our VP Kamala Harris, Congresswoman Lee’s lifelong commitment to justice and equality is an inspiration to all.

It’s up to us to protect and uplift our African American treasures. Thank you to all our donors, with special recognition to our Top Diamond Donors: Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib & her fantastic team, Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence, Dr. Pamela Pugh, Councilman Coleman A. Young II & his fabulous team, Larry Lipton, Tameka Ramsey, A. Nzere Kwabena, Shanay G. Watson-Whittaker, and Ken Whittaker.

With your support, we made this a powerful and impactful event—together, we’ll continue this vital legacy!
